Today, during the County Assembly's morning sitting, I stood on the floor of the House to demand immediate accountability on fuel utilization and road maintenance in Wundanyi-Mbale Ward.

Over Ksh 2.5 million has been allocated from the ward Development Fund in the last three years which is enough to fuel graders for meaningful roadworks, sadly our roads across the ward remain neglected.

I have called upon the Chairperson of the Transport & Infrastructure Committee to provide a detailed report on the fuel allocated and utilized, the whereabouts of the county grader that only worked for 7 days in July 2025, with only less than 1% of the roads graded and a clear maintenance schedule for Wundanyi-Mbale ward roads.
